Cooking Methods
Take 250 gm rice for 4 generous servings.Transfer
to fine mesh sieve and rince thoroughly in
cold running water. Take double amount of
water to volume of rice ( ratio 2:1 ). Soak
for 20 minutes now follow either of the methods
given below.
Put measured rice and water in to good size
heavy bottomed pan. Add salt (Optional as
per taste). Bring to boil, stir, lower heat
to gentle simmer. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
Do not remove lid or stir. Let stand for a
few minutes. |
